God, I love this woman...

I had to repost this. I don't care. She always hits the nail on the head and after my post about the sun and 'global warming', Lo and behold, I went to get my Ann Coulter on and found this, LOL. Yep, that's my Annie.

THE COMING ASS AGE
by Ann Coulter
March 21, 2007

No matter how much liberals try to dress up their nutty superstitions about global warming as "science," which only six-fingered lunatics could doubt, scratch a global warming "scientist" and you get a religious fanatic.

These days, new religions are barely up and running before they seize upon the worst aspects of the God-based religions.

First, there's the hypocrisy and corruption. At the 1992 Democratic Convention in New York, Al Gore said: "The central organizing principle of governments everywhere must be the environment." The environment would not, however, be the central organizing principle of Gore's own life.

The only place Al Gore conserves energy these days is on the treadmill. I don't want to suggest that Al's getting big, but the last time I saw him on TV I thought, "That reminds me — we have to do something about saving the polar bears."

Never mind his carbon footprint — have you seen the size of Al Gore's regular footprint lately? It's almost as deep as Janet Reno's.

But I digress. As has been widely reported, Gore's Tennessee mansion consumes 20 times the energy of the average home in that state. But it's OK, according to the priests of global warming. Gore has purchased "carbon offsets."

It took the Catholic Church hundreds of years to develop corrupt practices such as papal indulgences. The global warming religion has barely been around for 20 years, and yet its devotees are allowed to pollute by the simple expedient of paying for papal indulgences called "carbon offsets."

Americans spend an extra $2.2 billion on gas a year because they're overweight, requiring more fuel in cars to carry the extra pounds. So even with all those papal indulgences, Gore may have a small carbon footprint, but he has a huge carbon butt-print.

Further proving that liberalism is a religion, its practitioners respond with the zeal of Torquemada to any dissent from the faith in global warming.

A few years ago, Danish statistician Bjorn Lomborg wrote a book titled "The Skeptical Environmentalist," disputing the hysteria surrounding global warming and other environmentalist scares. Lomborg is a Greenpeace anti-war protester — or, as he is described on liberal Web sites, he is a "young, gay vegetarian Dane with tight T-shirts." His book was cited favorably in The New York Times.

But for questioning the "science" behind global warming, Lomborg was brought up on charges of "scientific misconduct" by Denmark's Inquisition Court, called the "Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation." I take it Denmark's Ministry of Truth was booked solid that day.

The moment anyone diverges from official church doctrine on global warming, he is threatened with destruction. Heretics would be burnt at the stake if liberals could figure out how to do it in a "carbon neutral" way.

Climatologist Dr. Timothy Ball is featured in the new documentary debunking global warming, titled "The Great Global Warming Swindle." For this heresy, Ball has received hate mail with such messages as, "If you continue to speak out, you won't live to see further global warming."

I'm against political writers whining about their hate mail because it makes them sound like Paul Krugman. But that's political writers arguing about ideology.

Global warming is supposed to be "science." It's hard to imagine Niels Bohr responding to Albert Einstein's letter questioning quantum mechanics with a statement like: "If you continue to speak out, you won't live to see further quantum mechanics."

Come to think of it, one can't imagine the pope writing a letter to Jerry Falwell saying, "If you continue to speak out, you won't live to see further infallibility."

If this is how global warming devotees defend their scientific theory, it may be a few tweaks short of a scientific theory. Scientific facts are not subject to liberal bullying — which, by the way, is precisely why liberals hate science.

A few years ago, The New York Times ran an article about the continuing furious debates among physicists about quantum mechanics, which differs from global warming in the sense that it is supported by physical evidence and it doesn't make you feel good inside to "do something" about quantum mechanics. It is, in short, science.

Though he helped develop the theory of quantum mechanics, Einstein immediately set to work attacking it. MIT cosmologist Max Tegmark called the constant testing and arguing about quantum mechanics "a 75-year war."

That's how a real scientific theory operates. That's even how a real religion operates. Only a false religion needs hate mail, threats, courts of inquisition and Hollywood movies to sustain it.

Aren't these people just wonderful?

It always struck me as interesting how people who claim to be "fair" and "care" about the "average" person, worried about the "environment", wanted to help the "homeless" and "poor" and had so much "compassion" for other human beings can be so vile.

I am referring to the Rosie O'Donnell's, Barbara Streisands, Alec Baldwin's and the liberal left moonbats out there. I think that it is so sad that after white house press secretary Tony Snow announced that his cancer had returned and that he needed to go in for surgery, people over at "The Huffington Post" made all kinds of ridiculous and just plain evil comments about it. I mean, they can't be civil to begin with, but they wish for the death of Dick Cheney, Dubya, call Rumsfeld a murderer, are just salivating to get Karl Rove cos he just kicks their butts all the time on the political field. They can't support anything they say with facts, and even when confronted with facts, they respond like my friend down the page, the autorantic virtual moonbat, with nonsense. I have yet to hear a conservative, well, Ann Coulter does kind of push it, but she is a fighter and doesn't take any crap from anyone, say some of the things I read about Tony posted on Arianna Huffington's site. Here are some examples;

from "BigMitch" on March 23, 2007"
"Let's not sink to the level of the Rush Limbaughs of the world. Tony Snow is a piece of s***, for sure. His punishment should be the shame that is justifiably heaped on a spokesman for the most venal and vicious administration in memory."

This one from someone named "KindAndThoughtful";
"Funny, I was thinking Snow didn't look that well - I assumed it was just the pressure of working for a bunch of assholes.", aw, that was nice, wasn't it?

and "mike169" chimes in;
" Let's keep it civil folks. Snow is, for whatever reason, and apologist for a gang of crimminals and liars."

oh, and we can't forget about
"Libsrule";
"While I wish him well and hope it is nothing serious, I do have to wonder if the growth he will have removed isn't the last shred of integrity he has."

and
"JDOK" offers his support to Tony, touching isn't it?;

"I couldn't stand Tony Snow when he was a mouthpiece for FOX and I can stomach him even less as chief distorter-in-charge for the Bush Administration. However, I do hope that he enjoys a successful surgery. Bush and the other criminals in the administration will need him for the next 20 months."

From "Oregonrain",
"All emotion aside , even though Tony Snow is a minion for Bushie, I do hope he will be alright . Maybe he will see this as a wake up call , and look for employment elsewhere. Obviously , his gut cant take the pressure of his job ."

"SPEAKINGTRUTH2POWER"

"I'm sorry to hear about this for Tony, I hope it is all good news for the guy. Tony may be a BushCo whore but nobody deserves to have cancer..."

I could go on and on with more, I saved the entire comment section when the VP was in Afghanistan and Al Qaeda tried to explode a bomb near him, and it was just sickening that these people would say some of the things they did.

Let me tell you something. I am a recovering democrat myself. I became a conservative
republican after watching Jimmy Carter sit there and tell me that "America's best days are behind us." That just made me sick. And watching how he bungled the hostage crisis that led us to where we are now. Then Reagan came along and just kicked ass and took names. I couldn't stand what happened to the democratic party. My family were all democrats and got so sick of the left wing pinheads and their political correctness that they all became republicans. My kids are republicans. Hell, I think even my ex-wife, who was once a moonbat herself at one time, has moved to the right. These people are so full of hatred for anything that they don't agree with, they would rather watch it die. Which is ironic, considering, they had no problems when Saddam was murdering his own people, or when he was in a senseless war with Iran killing thousands everyday. They didn't care when he gassed his own people. "Oh, that is an internal matter" they would say. They never said anything about the millions that the communist chinese killed in the name of "progress" or anything about the Soviet's and their treatment of their own people. Nope, not a word. It's always the "evil, United States corporate greed machine." Did anyone ever tell these wackos that the 60's are long gone?

This is probably the point where I am suppose to say, "Well, whether you agree with his politics or not, he's still a human being and cancer is no laughing matter." Well, I will tell you something, I have never wished anything or said anything remotely similar about someone on the left I didn't agree with. Even Jethro and Ellie Mae. I despised Clinton, but I accepted the facdt that the American people voted him in, so therefore he was the president. I still can't stomach Ellie Mae and I have said what I have thought of her in an earlier post. She's evil, opportunistic, pandering and a socialist. She will do anything to get elected. Dubya was elected, TWICE, you can argue that point all you want, but the facts are there to back them up. I make no apology's for backing him, I don't agree with everything he does, but consider the alternatives. If Gore or Kerry had actually won the election, imagine the the nastiness they would have brought with them into American politics, even more so than now, because the people that supported them are the very same people that wish for the death of their political opponents. Nice people huh? To tell you the truth, these people make me want to vomit. I have to wonder if the hatred they spew is not really hatred at themselves. Surely, a person with that much hate can't find any good in anything. They are pathetic. I just hope that God forgives them, oh I forgot, they have no god other than themselves.

Why I have a hard time swallowing the BS about Global Warming...

Well, kind of. To me, the hue and cry about man creating 'global warming' is just hot air. If you listen really close to Al Bore, who is neither a scientist or trustworthy (more on that later), he and the rest of the wackos want to attribute 'global warming' to something that man is doing. This has become the new subset in the religion of liberalism. Liberalism is a religion and if you don't agree with me, sit down and think about it. Anyway, this picture is fascinating. Look at the sun and then look at the Cosmic Solar Eruption at the black or blue dot inside of it. That gives you a comparison of just how small we as a planet are to the sun.

We had a huge solar eruption in October of '03 that knocked Telestar 4 out of commission and went shooting across the universe at incredible speeds. The funny thing is, with all the talk about 'global warming' I don't think I have ever heard from the so-called 'experts' what the sun's role in it is. And it has to have some role, wouldn't you think? I mean, the atmosphere on Mars is also heating up and the last I heard, Chevy, Ford and Chrysler didn't have plants up there, no people we know of live there, so what is causing it to also heat up? well, try the SUN! you pinheads!

When you look at this picture, look at how big the earth is in relation, then think of how small one person is. Think of how big the earth is to us and then tell me, that we are capable, outside of exploding every nuclear device on the planet at the same time, of changing our climate. I mean, back in '75 it was 'global cooling' and how convenient for these so-called 'experts' to claim that we won't see the results of 'global warming' until at least 50 to 100 years, when they and a lot of us will have died anyway and they won't be around to be questioned about their findings. The earth has existed and thrived no matter what we do, chances are, it will out live us and thrive as it always has.
As I said, I think the only hot air we are experiencing is coming from the 'inconvenient truth' that Al & the wacky left would have you believe.

Springtime 4.01.07

Ah, you can tell it's spring. The picture here was sent by a good friend of mine, Steve "Shag" Schumacher in Georgia. We used to work together at Fort KPNX and he now works for our sister station WXIA in Atlanta. These are dogwoods. I haven't been to the south in years. I was born in the south, Alabama and have always wanted to go back, even to just visit. One thing I do miss about living in Colorado is the changing of the seasons, preferrably from Winter to Spring. Colorado 'Springs' can very very volatile. It can snow at lower elevations as late as June as I remember, but the trees and flowers blooming, the rain as opposed to snow and the temps getting warmer. It doesn't happen like that here. It's starting to warm up and though it's beautiful here in Phoenix right now as far as temperature, it's going to start getting warmer pretty quick. But, this is a great picture anyway.
