The Breck Girl

Good Morning!

(Grrrr, I really hate people who are so perky in the morning) Anyway, check this out.
John Edwards: "I think that Jesus would be disappointed in our ignoring the plight of those around us who are suffering and our focus on our own selfish, short-term needs. I think he'd be appalled, actually." Hmm, Hey Johnny, Would Jesus be appalled at the number of people you put out of work with your frivolous lawsuits? Would Jesus be appalled at the hypocrisy of you chastising average Americans for their pursuit of life, liberty and more stuff? I mean, who has more "stuff" Johnny? you or them? So, let me get this straight. It's ok for you, a wealthy ambulance chaser who made millions off the misfortunes of others, but yet, somehow Jesus would be appalled that the average American just wants to live their life, take care of their families and spend their hard earned money on items that they want. Hmmm. Let's go to the tape; Below are 2 of your houses. Now, the better part of me wants to believe that the one on the left is for indigent families to live at while they are learning new jobs skills and getting the help they need in order to go out in the work force and become once again, productive workers in society. The house on the right is for families that can't travel to the country side and have to find a metro area location to do the same. They are receiving help from you John, right? You are letting them have a place to sleep, eat and learn new trades right?
You know, Jesus did say that the poor will always be among us. I do remember that Jesus also told a rich man to give away all his "stuff" to the poor if he wanted to get to heaven. Ya know Sparky, this is why people can't believe a word you politicians say. While you are sitting in your million dollar houses waxing on about how others should be helping poor people, average Americans are struggling to make ends meet, go to work and pay their bills. Maybe you should put your Breck where your mouth is. Hypocrite.
