When I grow up, I want to marry Ann Coulter...

Seriously.

It's actually the title to a new song I have been toying with for a while now and I might put it on my next CD titled "An Act of Bob". I really like her passion about what she believes and have read all but the latest book by her. Now there is a woman that I would love to meet, take out to dinner and just talk to. Her latest controversy over her remarks about the "Breck Gal", John Edwards, have put the libs' panties in a bunch. What did she say? "I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot,’ so I — so kind of an impasse, can’t really talk about Edwards.” So I guess now, if you voice an opinion about somebody, and she wasn't actually calling him a "faggot" more so she was saying if you did call someone a derogatory name, then you need to go into one of them there "re-edumacation" schools or rehab. Because it's insensitive to call other people names, it might hurt their feelings, boo-hoo. Please.

It never occurred to them that it's okay in America (this is still America, right?) to have an opinion and it is her opinion. And from the video clip I have seen, it may have been taken out of context. I wonder why people don't put the whole thing down, meaning, what did she say preceding her remark? That's like the video of Rodney King when he was being beaten by LA's finest. All we saw over and over were the cops beating him and yet, I saw the entire video clip and what the Drive-by MSM never showed you, Mr and Mrs America, was that he was actually assaulting the cops until they opened a can of whup-ass, issued a fatwah and went Jihad on him.

Anyway, back to Ann. I read something on the HuffPo, (that's the Huffington Post for all you people in Fountain, Colorado) and Steven Weber, that fine liberal actor, wrote an opinion piece about "My Date with Ann."

Now good ole Steve is certainly entitled to his opinion but I just found it a bit odd that he would post one of his sexual fantasies on the net, oh well. Guess even the castrati have "needs".
I have always found intelligent women attractive. Ann certainly fits the bill and Lord knows, in the industry I work in, women are usually of the variety "hello my name is ----and my favorite color is clear." I have been out on quite a few dates since I got divorced some years ago, but I have yet to find someone that appealed to me to where I might want to pursue it. The only woman I have thought might be interesting lives across the country on the east coast and I am nothing more to her than a friendly voice, email penpal and a nusance. Oh well such is life! (I would say C'est Le Vie, but friends don't let friends speak french)

So, I am going to be interested to see how the MSM responds to the latest Ann Coulter controversy. Guess I will have to wait till Monday and see how Rush, Hannity, Medved, maybe Hewitt or Savage respond. Rock on Ann, I still love you, LOL. About the only thing that would turn me off is if we were out in the car on our way to the restaurant and you had to use the cellphone, but then again, I probably could live with that too.

Peace,
